The company, which was founded in 1990 by engineers working in telecommunication industry, is an enterprise in Hungarian ownership. Ever since its foundation it has been engaged in developing telecommunication equipment, manufacturing television and radio signal transmission equipment and GSM devices as well as developing and installing equipment and systems requiring unique technical solutions.

The task of the device is converting the signal of the selected, 8 MHz bandwidth television channel falling into the 92-294 MHz VHF band arriving at its input to the 12 301.5 - 12 503.5 SHF band and then amplifying the converted signal to the level required for transmitting
Its input interface consists of a broadband channel specific signal input capable of receiving analogous or digital television signals as well as one 1.356611 GHz oscillator signal input.
Its output interface consists of a R120 waveguide output providing the amplified and modulated signal of the 8 MHz bandwidth television channel falling into the 12 GHz SHF band.
